Each piece of PM DESIGNS jewelry is hand-crafted and requires delicate handling. Please follow our recommended care + feed routine to extend the life of the jewelry so it can celebrate numerous milestone occasions.
- After each wear, gently wipe with a soft jewelry cloth and store in a jewelry box. Please note that the majority of the collection requires wirework, which should be delicately handled and stored in an appropriate setting.
- Please avoid direct contact with water (salt or fresh), excessive perspiration, and chemicals such as chlorine, sulfur, perfume, detergent and lotion. Excessive light, heat or moisture will deteriorate the quality of plating on the metal and gemstones and could potentially weaken the settings of extrusive rings.
- Drusy Quartz is a particularly delicate stone and requires careful and cushioned storage as well as delicate handling. The color of the metal and gemstones may fade over time if constantly exposed to the sun.
- Our collections consist of precious metal (sterling silver) and non-precious metal (brass and base metal) and they are often plated with 18K gold, gunmetal or rose gold. Some chains in our collection are anodized. The metal may darken or tarnish with normal wear. We recommend gently wiping the metal surface with a polishing cloth, however, excessive polishing will rub off the plating and is not recommended.
- Because most of the stones used in our collection are natural gemstones and pearls, they may vary in shape, size and color. Inclusions can be seen in natural stones and is a part of their aesthetic appeal. Pearls and most gemstones do not stand the force of cleaning agents, polishing cloth or ultrasonic cleaners.
